Here is what I’ve learned, or...at least one thing that I’m learning.
A lot of time when we come to the end of a journey, or the end of a chapter in our life, we want to close the book, as it’s the end of the story. We want to tie a bow on it and say, “The End”. But in my experience, God rarely wraps our chapters and seasons up with a bow. Most ofthe time, when we want a wrap up, God gives us a cliffhanger. Where we are placing a period, God is placing a comma. We think that the story is over, but God is saying, “You’ll never guess what will happen next! You better keep going. Read on, because I’m just getting started!”
The tour may be over, but this is certainly not the end. This is just a cliffhanger, and I am so excited to see what God has next for my story.
